Marc Jacobs is powerful enough not to worry about what people think, so I assume. He is the cover boy of the new Fall/Winter 2007-08 issue of Arena Homme + magazine, posing all buff, shirtless and tan. I recall when Marc Jacobs was just a skinny, femme-y, bespectacled fashion nerd - somewhat of an average unattractive, stringy-haired guy. All of a sudden this major reinvention happens, a la Lagerfeld's skinny make-over or Galliano's similar re-buffing, that I have to take a second look to make sure it's still him. He looks like a gay porn star now! Definitely a change for the better...
