Where In The World Is Pumpkin Man?

Many apologies for my recent disappearance from the blog but I've been occupied with unrelated issues and haven't had the time to tend to my little Pumpkin baby. To write on the blog also requires inspiration and I haven't had much of that lately and to post stuff just to do it - without real passion - I'd rather not. Worry not because I am not going through any personal crisis or anything like that - no suicidal tendencies here, thank God - just chilling...and rolling with my homies. I will be returning slowly to posting very soon, OK? Hugs & kisses!! PM

Hey Pumpkins hope you are not gone too long. Do you know about threadless? Maybe it will inspire you...

Come to Boston and feel inspired again...Don't let the summer heat sap your inspiration.

If you are in doubt of what to write about, ask yourself, "what would Booboo do?" You can even hum it to the SouthPark song about Brian Boitano.

What were you are looking at here is different from the ''lingerie dressing'' of seasons past, a formula of satiny slip dress, fishnet stockings, maybe a bit of lace or fur trim, that left little to the imagination and required still less imagination to conjure in the first place. No, the new reveal as proposed by designers as far apart in their thinking as Akris and Rodarte does not trade in those sorts of sexual clichés. It doesn't even have much to do with actual nudity; it merely offers it up as a suggestion. For the Dutch artist Arno Nollen, who took the photographs on these pages, a series of random intimate encounters provided the basis for a book of portraits published in 2004. Those portraits, of ordinary young women on the streets of European cities, are considerably more revealing than what we can show here. But if there were ever a season to re-examine our ideas of what is considered risqué, indecent or even just plain sexy, it is spring 2008. As the New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn wrote of the designer Marc Jacobs, whose collections both for his own label and for Louis Vuitton perhaps raised the most eyebrows, ''There is more beauty and modesty in the way Mr. Jacobs exposes a bra strap than you see most days on the subway.''
