Saved By The Bell - The Slater T-Shirt Collection

I have to confess that 80's sitcom "Saved By The Bell" was never a favorite of mine - bad acting, bad fashion, bad plots... But as true nostalgia lover I can't help to succumb to the charm of these "homage" T-shirts to SBTB's Latino resident-hunk AC Slater - better known now as "Dancing With The Stars" hottie Mario Lopez. Chloe Sevigny For Uniqlo

Japanese retailer Uniqlo is rolling out an UT advertising campaign, featuring Chloë Sevigny and Tadanobu Asano, a Japanese actor, shot by photographer Dan Jackson.

The UT Project is comprised of t-shirts designed by renowned artists, designers, photographers and musicians including Terry Richardson, Npbuyoshi Araki, Kai Khüne, Bjorn Copeland of Black Dice, Kim Jones, Peter Saville, Gareth Pugh, Solve Sundsbo and many others.
New manga-themed styles will debut every week for the rest of the year, priced at about US$15.50, while vinyl pictures from the comic books and large printed tapestries will cover the entire mezzanine level of the Uniqlo stores.

Cool Threadless T-Shirts

I just can't get enough of these GREAT Threadless T-shirts!! Besides being simply awesome they are also very affordable at US$15.00 for guys tees and US$17.00 for the girl's, as 50+ bucks for a graphic tee is soooo not cool. Murakami & Louis Vuitton @ Brooklyn Museum

The Brooklyn Museum has finally confirmed it will host a pop-up Louis Vuitton shop to coincide with its Takashi Murakami exhibit starting next month. They've also put select items online to whet your appetite until the exhibit kicks off on April 4, like the super-adorable cushions and T-shirt above. But the real stars of the store will be the "monogramouflage" Vuitton handbags, which will sport a new monogram pattern created by Murakami. Images of the collection haven't been released, but we're kind of hoping the flower products online are a sneak preview.

Most designs are sold in very limited-edition runs and therefore quite coveted by hipsters all around as collectable pieces. Look what I found online!! I was just browsing for some fun tees when I came across this cool Johnny Depp T-shirt on 80'sTees.com. The interesting thing was that as I open the page I see this picture of Amy Winehouse sporting the same tee, probably on the streets of London, coming home from late night from the pubs, drunk and all. I just made up the last part, as I love Amy and think she is too-cool-for-school and press should just lay off her and focus on Britney that wants all the attention she can get. I just went ga-ga over this T-shirt by Mishka I saw online the other day. How can it be more brilliant? Kidnap Madonna For Drug Money! LOVE IT!!

Dreams of F*cking an R&B B*tch Tee

Canadian label Finale put out a quite, er, how can I put this...thought-provoking T-shirt. The effigies of many notable chanteuses and what-nots like Chaka Khan, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Sade, Whitney Houston and Rihanna, to name a few, adorn this lovely tee. The piece-de-resistance is the poetical verse that is printed below: "Dreams of F*cking and R&B B*tch", with the face of some chubby-faced rapper-looking guy (Biggie, is that you?) in lieu of the **.

The Comeback: Katharine Hamnett Slogan Tees

What is old is new again and British designer Katherine Hamnett seems to know that better than most. In the 80's her bold-lettered over-sized logo-ed political T-shirts were a must have staple. Do you remember "Frankie Say War"? Hamnet caused a commotion in the early 80's when meeting with then-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher wearing her own t-shirt with the slogan "58% DON'T WANT PERSHING", a reference to polls showing public opposition in the United Kingdom against the basing of United States nuclear weapons on Pershing missiles.

She is now re-issuing her classic & timeless slogan tees, at a moment when 80's nostalgia and environmental issues are at peak, on her cool website. The tees are 100% organic cotton and styles range from 1983's Choose Life to 2006's Bring Back God. My favorite might be 1989's Clean Up Or Die, as it couldn't be more au-courant when recycling and pollution should be in everyone's agenda. Love it!
