Another Sex And The City - The Movie - Poster

Another Sex And The City movie poster has been unveiled and star Sarah Jessica Parker gets the prime spot - again. An earlier version had already shown Parker going solo on the streets of NYC and that could only add fuel to the fire to the many rumours of on-set feuds. The gossip trade claims that salaries, script and wardrobe choices have all been reasons for animosities among the four main stars, specially between Sarah Jessica and Kim Cattral.

Sex And The City - The Movie - New Promo Image

Another Carrie Bradshaw-style fashion look, by the hands of the ever so talented Patricia Fields. This image is part of the print advertising for the upcoming SATC movie and Sarah Jessica Parker looks fab in a wacky-bag-lady-is-gonna-pounce-at-you-from-behind-the pillar-look. I know for a fact that she's wearing a Burberry US$9,000.00 fur coat on the picture and I wish they had been a little more PETA conscious when choosing wardrobe for the shoot. Sorry, I think fur is an outdated status symbol and very un-politically correct, specially with all the information available on how they pretty much skin those poor animals alive. Pooh-pooh for fur!

New "Sex And The City - The Movie" Poster

This is the new poster for the upcoming "Sex And The City - The Movie", opening in US theaters on May 30Th. The full cast returns for a new romp in New York City and I just can't wait to see it! I've posted a few articles on the new movie, including several wardrobe pictures but nothing compares to the real thing. In the new poster we see lovely Sarah Jessica Parker in her usual runway strut in a hot pink dress, hair to the wind. The slogan says "Get Carried Away", don't you just love that?

I hope to see more versions of the poster too as the other girls deserve to be seen too!

Katherine Heigl @ Vanity Fair

Grey Anatomy's Katherine Heigl glams it up for the January 2008 issue of Vanity Fair. I love all the 1940's pin-up inspired photos by Norman Jean Roy, specially the black & white cover look and the Vargas Girl one, with the legs up in the air. She looks gorgeous as the 4o's movie star diva too and she incarnated the character flawlessly. Kudos!

I do not watch the Grey's anatomy as I never liked hospital dramas (E.R., House, etc) and I try to not get hooked on the prime-time hour long shows as I don't need another TV show to get addicted to. I hate the feeling that you can't miss an episode or you get lost in the story sequence so I make a point of changing the channel. Also the story lines never seem to appeal to me anyway. There are exceptions, like Ugly Betty that is awesome and Law & Order SVU, but otherwise I'd rather channel surf and watch A&E, Discovery Channel or true-crime shows. Project Runway is still my favorite but so far this season the show hasn't grabbed me to the fullest. Sarah Jessica Parker's appearance was the biggest highlight but the challenges haven't been as great as I expected. Tiki Barber, how boring was that?

New Sex and The City - The Movie - Trailer!!!

I am SOOOOOOO excited I can't even type!! The new Sex and The City movie comes out in May and I can't wait to see it!! There is a lot of speculation that many fake scenes were shot just to confuse the press as so much of the movie plot was being leaked because of the many outdoor scenes shot around New York City. Fret not! This wedding dress business is clearly a dream-sequence in the upcoming Sex and The City movie that is being shot all over Manhattan. I've seen pictures of Carrie looking really angry in this same wedding gown, running away from church, as if she had been stood up at the altar. Sarah Jessica looks great as a brunette as this chocolate-brown hair color (Garnier Nutrisse?) suits her very well. I actually might like her better as a brunette, more chic & sophisticated. Her blond hair can look too hippie-frizzy for my taste. The argyle tights & Frankie-says-relax-style t-shirt combo is a miss as she is too old for that, but the gray tights-cardigan look is awesome!
I love these two pictures on the bottom as Carries does a double-look on the four girlfriends strutting down the avenue with all their shopping bags. Great casting, as the girls are younger carbon-copies of our favorite SATC demoiselles. The Samantha chick is fabulous! Love it!!

Sex and The City - The Movie - Fashion Preview

As "Sex and The City - The Movie" has been filming all over NYC, there are a lot of images available taken from all their location shoots. Here's a little preview of what Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte will be wearing on the upcoming movie version of one of my favorite TV shows of all times. As we can see Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie remains a fashion risk-taker, hence the oversize hibiscus-looking flower sprouting from her rushed dress. That does look like a school play costume, you must agree, but I wouldn't want Carrie any other way. Cynthia Nixon must be very excited about Miranda's new looks as what I can see so far looks fabulous on her. She looks gorgeous in gold accents! Charlotte looks beautiful in whatever she wears and I always loved her outfits throughout the old shows. The strapless print dress is a winner and she just glows in it. Very sexy! Her Oscar de La Renta maternity wear is perfect for Charlotte too. Jennifer Hudson plays Carrie's assistant in the movie and she must be running home to get rid of those hideous Burberry-looking boots. I will cover some of Samantha's looks on my next SATC post, as I haven't seen much yet that is noteworthy.

Sex and The City - The Movie - On-Set Feuding

Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker just can’t seem to get over their differences.
After reports of a spat between the two at the ‘Sex and the City’ reunion party, new reports of yet another catfight are surfacing. As rumor has it, Cattrall picked out a specific pair of red heels and was going to wear them on set...until SJP swiped them.
A source said:
“Kim wanted to wear a pair of red heels and picked them out from wardrobe especially, but then Sarah apparently swept in and took them, much to Kim’s disgust.”
It got so ugly that Kristin Davis had to separate the two at one point.
The source adds:
“By the end of the TV series they could barely be civil to each other. But both women are top professionals and won’t let this get in the way of their jobs. They know the Sex and the City" movie is a huge money-spinner and a great way to wave goodbye to their characters, and each other, for good.
