This cool vintage VW bug was parked in front of MAM last week. I drove a tan one in the mid 80's that was lent by an aunt of mine who never drove it. We call them fuscas in Brazil. Mine didn't even come close to this flawless time capsule that I found on the street. Mine had a moldy smell as it was kept in a damp underground garage and was upholstered in vinyl. Check out the white leather interior! When I saw it I wondered who owned it... A museum curator, or an art collector, maybe a rock'n'roller or a young architect? For sure someone hip and happening and NEVER the aging, balding baby boomer with the chain-smoking mistress. This guy or girl was a cool cat! And I was jealous.
