Cate Blanchett @ W Magazine

Goddess Cate Blanchett photographed by Michael Thompson for the October issue of W Magazine. It's hard not to admire her personal sense of style and a beauty that transcends cookie-cutter Hollywood perfection. Her daring role choices accentuates her independence and personal drive, never shying away from challenging new parts. Such was the personality quirk that led her to accept a role in Todd Haynes's hotly anticipated Bob Dylan biopic, "I'm Not There". As she states on her W interview:

"I used to constantly play that Truth, Dare, Kiss or Promise game as a child. I guess I've never outgrown it. If somebody challenges me to do something, I say okay. I say okay very quickly."

I've been a long-time fan of Cate Blanchett and had to say so here at Little-Pumpkins too.

I saw her, exchanged pleasant "hellos" a year ago. It was at a Farmer's Market in Hollywood and she was with her two children (one in the stroller she was pushing). She's super pale on purpose (no aging of the skin please), wore a massive sun hat, skinny (not naturally) clearly from starving herself/ultra low calorie diet and is tall (at least 5'10").
