Alexandre Herchcovitch @ New York Fashion Week

Since launching the collection in 1994, Brazilian-born Alexandre Herchcovitch has never compromised his vision, be it the high-concept constructions of molded rubber and gargantuan sequins from his early years or the aggressively cheerful floral frocks he’s favored of late. The designer has branded his own signature quirky chic, and he branches out in equally interesting ways. The looks were a re-interpretation of evening wear and tuxedos, with impeccable tailoring and mostly solid colors. I love all the short dresses with the layered-ruffles necklines and his new heels. He had previously showed this same collection at Sao Paulo Fashion week earlier this season.
